Stephen Mollah is the latest person to claim to be the mysterious inventor of Bitcoin
Bitcoin’s creator, Satoshi Nakamoto, remains unknown despite various attempts to unmask him. Recently, a press event organized by Charles Anderson claimed to unveil Satoshi’s identity, featuring Stephen Mollah, who declared himself as the creator of Bitcoin.
Mollah, however, failed to provide any proof, frustrating journalists and raising doubts. Previous contenders, including Craig Wright and Dorian Nakamoto, also fell short of convincing evidence.
Some in the crypto community prefer the mystery, seeing it as essential to Bitcoin’s decentralized ethos, while others argue it distracts from exploring cryptocurrency’s potential impact on the economy. For now, Satoshi’s true identity remains elusive.
