Bawumia to launch credit scoring system in October

Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia will launch a Credit Scoring System in October 2024, aiming to make it easier for Ghanaians to purchase items on credit and pay in installments.

The initiative, a key focus of his campaign, seeks to transition Ghana from a cash-based economy to one that supports credit, benefiting small businesses and young entrepreneurs.

Speaking in Assin Fosu, Dr. Bawumia emphasized the system’s role in boosting economic growth and job creation.

The Paramount Chief of Afutuakwa, Okumanin Baffour Asare Kyeahene II, also requested that Dr. Bawumia address road issues in Assin Central.
