The Minority in Parliament is demanding that Ghana Gas Company present an $800 million gas processing contract for parliamentary scrutiny.
Minority Spokesperson on Energy, John Jinapor, claims the contract has bypassed legislative review and accuses the government of pressuring Ghana Gas' CEO to sign it.
Jinapor expressed concerns over the contract's transparency and potential financial risks, warning that a future NDC government will hold those responsible accountable.
He also called for clarification on a $24 million contract for a bottling plant, suspecting possible inflation in the deal.
