Couple accuses Korle-Bu, Akawe Hospital of allegedly stealing their triplets

A couple in Mallam Kokroko, Greater Accra, is accusing staff at Akawe Government Hospital and Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital of stealing their newborn triplets.

Hilda Ninson, the mother, gave birth to preterm babies on August 3, 2024, and they were transferred to Korle-Bu due to a lack of incubators.

The couple claims all three babies died under suspicious circumstances, with bodies shown to them that did not match their newborns.

The parents allege that staff discussed selling the babies due to their poverty.

The couple is demanding an investigation into the matter.
