Democracy Hub: Remanded protesters were fed with ‘Papaye’ – Prosecution

The prosecution has denied claims of mistreatment against 53 Democracy Hub protesters currently in custody.

While defense lawyers allege the protesters are being denied food and medical care, the prosecution insists they are well-fed, receiving meals from Papaye, a local restaurant.

Despite these claims, the judge denied bail for the protesters, who will remain in custody until October 8.

Following the court session, the detainees expressed their dissatisfaction by singing patriotic songs.
