ECG boss Samuel Mahama resigns for ‘personal reasons’

Samuel Dubik Mahama, Managing Director of the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG), has resigned, citing personal reasons.

Appointed by President Akufo-Addo in May 2022, Mahama expressed gratitude for the trust placed in him during his tenure.

His resignation comes after the retirement of former Managing Director Kwame Agyeman-Budu.
