Parts of Ghana are experiencing a shortage of Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG), with long queues forming at some LPG stations in the Greater Accra region.

The LPG Marketers Association has warned that if supplies from the Bulk Oil Distributors (BDCs) don’t improve, the shortage could worsen over the weekend, as 60-70% of stations have already run out of gas.

Meanwhile, the Tema Oil Refinery (TOR) has assured the public that the issue, caused by initial challenges with BDCs, has been resolved and supplies will normalize soon.
