More arrested Democracy Hub protestors appear in court

A fresh group of Democracy Hub protesters, arrested during the #OccupyJulorbiHouse demonstration, were taken to court in Accra under heavy security.

Notably absent was #FixTheCountry convenor, who, along with another detainee, is receiving medical care.

This marks the second day of arraignments following the three-day protest.

Earlier, 39 protesters were remanded, with cases adjourned to October.

During today's hearing, the court briefly adjourned to allow the State prosecutor to serve the defense lawyers, after it was revealed that Felicity Nelson, arrested Sunday, wasn't listed as an accused person.
