Construction on the National Cathedral project in Ghana will resume, as announced by Apostle Professor Opoku Onyinah, chairman of the board.

This decision follows a September 20 meeting with auditors from Deloitte, who completed a statutory audit covering the project from its inception to December 31, 2020, in response to public concerns over potential corruption and spending issues.

With the audit report ready, Onyinah expressed hope that it would bolster public trust and financial support.

However, the project still requires an estimated $450 million for completion, raising questions about funding availability, given the $58 million already spent.
