The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has successfully completed the 2024 WASSCE for school candidates, despite incidents of exam malpractice.
The exam, held from August 5 to September 20, involved 460,611 candidates from 1,003 schools across 1,000 centers nationwide.

WAEC stated that those found culpable will face sanctions and expressed gratitude to stakeholders for reporting cheating attempts. The Council remains committed to maintaining exam integrity.
