Ghana Premier League champions Accra Hearts of Oak were beaten 1-0 by Togolese Champions ASKO de Kara in an international friendly on Monday.
The part of Hearts of Oak's preparation towards their CAF Champions League assignments this weekend.
A 32nd minute strike through Magnim Ataba was all that the Togolese side needed to hand Hearts their first defeat in three friendly games.
Coach Samuel Boadu assembled his squad that consist of both old and new members of the squad.
He was however playing without the services of Goalkeeper Richard Attah, Fatawu Mohammed and Daniel Afriyie Barnieh, who are on National assignment with the Black Stars.
Hearts of Oak travel to Guinea to play Club Industriel de Kamsar whiles the Togo Champions will also play as guest to LPRC Oilers from Liberia this weekend all in the first preliminary round of the CAF Champions League
