Hearts of Oak forward Bernard Arthur has taken a swipe at head coach of the club, Edward Nii Odoom, saying current football greats Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi cannot perform if they don’t train.
Arthur who has been restricted to the bench by the trainer is of the view that, he cannot do what is expected of him for the club without getting much playing time.
He has therefore questioned the coach selection during match days for the rainbow boys as he believes his choice of players for games isn’t the best.
“Odoom selects average players during match days and when the going gets tough, that is when he will introduce me on the pitch to turn things around which he sees as disrespect”
“I don’t train with the team, so how do you expect me to get my form? Even Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi can’t get their form if they don’t train,” he told Asempa FM
