Highly respected Sports Physician Dr. Prince Pambo says football and other sporting activities can only return by a government decision.
All sporting activities and social gatherings have been suspended in Ghana, including the Premier League.
The return of football is still uncertain with opinions largely divided with regards to the resumption and cancellation of the season.
However, Dr. Pambo, who is a member of CAF's medical team insists a decision for football to return or end can be made by only government amid the Coronavirus crisis.
"The decision for sports to resume is a Government's decision," Dr. Pambo told Sikka Sports.
There is also the suggestion that games be played behind closed doors when football finally makes a return, but Dr. Pambo believes that will take away the excitement of the sport.
"Sports without spectators is not sports, hence the needed to adhere to proper measures," he added.
