The government is ramping up efforts to combat a potential food crisis caused by the ongoing dry spell in Northern and Middle Belts.

Minister for Food and Agriculture Bryan Acheampong outlined plans to withdraw GHS 500 million from the contingency fund for seed, fertilizers, feed grants, and imports.
Chair of the Finance Committee, Patrick Boamah, confirmed the funds will be approved once criteria are met, addressing Minority concerns.
