The Peasant Farmers Association of Ghana has criticized the alleged politicization of fertilizer distribution under the Planting for Food and Jobs (PFJ) initiative.
Reports suggest MPs and District Chief Executives are distributing fertilizers based on political affiliation.
Charles Nyaaba, Programmes Manager of the association, confirmed these concerns after speaking with farmers who reported being excluded from distribution if they were not affiliated with the ruling party.
The association expressed disappointment, calling for fair and unbiased distribution to all farmers.
