The Abossey Okai Spare Parts Dealers Association, one of West Africa's largest automobile parts markets, has shown support for the NDC's proposed policy to implement fixed rates on imported spare parts if the party wins the December 7 elections.
NDC flagbearer John Dramani Mahama introduced the policy during the party’s manifesto launch, aiming to ensure transparency in port charges.
The association's head of communications, Takyi Addo, stated that while they welcome the proposal, they are still reviewing policies from both the NDC and NPP before making a final decision.
