The Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu, has assured that the December 7 elections will not disrupt the work of the Constitution Review Consultative Committee.
The Committee, formed to gather input on revising the 1992 Constitution, will continue its efforts despite concerns about the timing.
Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu dismissed claims that constitutional amendments are hindered by election years, noting that similar amendments were successfully made after the 1996 elections.
He emphasized that the electoral process will not impede the Committee's work.
