Black Stars gaffer, Chris Hughton has stated they will play their hearts out to secure the win against Madagascar in order to secure early qualification to the 2023 AFCON qualifiers.
The team touched down in Antananarivo safely ahead of their match-day five tie against Madagascar on Sunday after leaving the shores of Ghana on the morning of Friday, June 16, and arrived on the early hours of Saturday.
The team opened amping last Monday at Alisha Hotel and have already held three training sessions already as they look to get themselves adequately prepared for the game coming up.
The team on arrival will head straight to their hotel and also train on match venue Kianja Barea Mahamasina Municipal Stadium in order to acclimatize to the country's weather and the pitch in order to know their approach to the game.
In a pre-match interview, the experience coach has stated they are heading into the game with nothing but a winning mentality.
"We also know what it means if we are to win the game because of early qualification, so all of these things, we know but it’s down to performance on the day and so we are well prepared and I am sure we have a group of players that will do everything to win the game for us,"
