VIDEO: Maadwoa’s familly reacts after inspector Twumasi claimed Maadwoa owed him money

Inspector Ahmed Twumasi, the police officer who murdered the mother of one in Kumasi, has been sentenced to death by the family of the late Maadwoa.

During his first court appearance on Tuesday, April 25th, 2023, Inspector Ahmed Twumasi informed the court that Maadwoa owed him Ghc 5,000.



When they met, he had no intention of killing her, but her refusal to settle the debt drove him insane.

The Asokore Mampong District Court adjourned the case until May 30th, with the suspect remanded in police custody until then.



On Thursday, April 20, 2023, Inspector Twumasi was charged with murder after shooting his girlfriend, Victoria Dapaah aka Maadwoa, multiple times.

In response to the police officer's claims, Maadwoa's family demanded that he be killed as the only way for justice to be served.



They bemoaned how one could commit murder for the pittance of Ghc 5,000.
