10 land guards with weapons arrested in Ga South Municipality [Photos]

The Central East Regional Police Command has arrested 10 land guards in Asabaham, Ga South Municipality, while retrieving weapons like cutlasses and axes.

The suspects, aged 26-43, were accused of attacking workers on a private land owned by Morton City Real Estate, seizing tools, and demanding money.

The police impounded their vehicle and found weapons on them. The landowner, Benjamin Awuzu, commended the police for their swift action, revealing that the land guards had also attacked a pregnant woman who refused to pay them. Investigations are ongoing.
