20-year-old man confesses to beheading younger brother in Ejisu Municipality

In a tragic incident near Kwamo in the Ejisu Municipality of the Ashanti Region, a 20-year-old man, Samuel Obeng, has killed his 8-year-old brother, Messiah Akomeah.

Samuel, who reportedly suffers from mental health issues and is a chronic weed smoker, claimed he was influenced by hallucinations and voices in his head when he lured his brother into the bush and killed him.

The nearly decapitated body was found after Samuel confessed to their uncle.

The devastated family, including the boys' mother, is grieving the loss.

Samuel is now in police custody as investigations continue.
