Speaker of Parliament Alban Bagbin has assured Ghanaians of his commitment to ensuring peace ahead of the 2024 general elections.
During a courtesy visit by the Ghana National Council of Private Schools (GNACOPS), Bagbin pledged to promote unity and peace throughout the election period.
The GNACOPS delegation, led by Obento Nana Kwasi Gyetuah, praised Bagbin for his leadership and efforts to foster democratic values among the youth.
The Speaker emphasized his dedication to overseeing free, fair, and peaceful elections, highlighting initiatives like the Democracy Cup and a seminar in Tamale to promote peace in the nation.
He congratulated GNACOPS for instilling peace in future leaders.
