Osabarima Dr. Owusu Beyeeman, Chief of Akyem Muoso, has called on politicians to prioritize Ghana’s unity during the upcoming elections.
Speaking at the first anniversary of his installation, he cautioned against actions that could destabilize the nation.
“Just as we won’t allow chieftaincy disputes to destroy Ghana, we won’t allow politicians to do so,” he stated, urging citizens to vote peacefully and accept outcomes gracefully.
He also praised the Inspector General of Police for ensuring a peaceful process.
Reflecting on past chieftaincy disputes, the Chief urged kingmakers to act with integrity, emphasizing that leadership is about service.
His leadership has led to significant community development, including improved BECE performance, a modern police station, and clean water access, earning praise from senior lawyer Professor Kwame Gyan.
