24-year-old survives gun attack on his way to farm in Nkwanta

A 24-year-old farmer, Solomon Amenu, is being treated at Nkwanta St. Joseph Catholic Hospital after surviving a gun attack while traveling to his farm on Saturday morning.

Amenu and a companion were ambushed by unknown gunmen who opened fire without warning.

Despite sustaining multiple gunshot wounds to his right arm, he managed to escape and seek help.

This attack marks the second incident in the Nkwanta South Municipality in just a week, raising safety concerns among local farmers.

Residents are urging police to take immediate action to enhance security in the area.
