3.7% electorates ready to sell their votes – Survey

A survey by Research, Innovation, and Development reveals 3.7% of Ghanaian voters are open to selling their votes.

50% prioritize competency, track record, employment, and education over candidate personality.

Financial inducement is a deciding factor for 3.7%.

Although the NDC is popular, John Mahama isn't the preferred presidential choice; Dr. Bawumia leads with 38.9% compared to Mahama's 36.1%.

21.4% are undecided, and 3.6% support other candidates, suggesting a possible run-off. Prof. Smart Sarpong, who led the survey, warns against premature celebration, noting the potential for a close election.
