The Ghana Police Service has arrested three more persons in connection with the death of Major Maxwell Mahama.
This brings the number of persons arrested to forty-four. The three are Kwame Tuffuor, Evans Asare and Richmond Bio.
A statement from the Police assured Ghanaians that “work is in progress to bring all persons connected to the murder to face the full rigours of the law”.
Meanwhile, Major Mahama will be buried on Friday in Accra after which there will be a family meeting and thanksgiving service on Saturday and Sunday respectively before the funeral is taken to Bole and Tumu for final funeral rites.

Three more suspects arrested by police in connection with the murder of Major Maxwell Mahama have been remanded into police custody to re-appear on 21st June, 2017 by an Accra Central Magistrate Court today, Wednesday 7th June, 2017.
They are Kwame Tuffuor, Evans Asare and Richmond Bio.
This brings the total number of remanded suspects to forty-four (44).
The Police Administration continues to assure the public that work is in progress to bring all persons connected to the murder to face the full rigours of the law.
