Five nurses at the St Peter’s Hospital in Jacobu in the Amansie Central District in the Ashanti Region have tested positive of COVID-19.
According to information available to this website, the five nurses tested positive after being exposed to a COVID-19 patient.
There are fears that some medical Doctors have also been exposed to the virus.
The Ashanti Region is the second region with the highest cases in the country.
The region currently has 2,362 confirmed cases.
