Information reaching YEN.com.gh from sources close to the Jubilee House has it that a three-member committee has been set up by the government to oversee Ghana Football affairs.
This is an interim committee, according to renowned sports personality, Saddick Adams SportsObama’. He made this known on his official Facebook page on Tuesday, June 12, 2018.
The three-member committee is made up of Dr. Kofi Amoah, Tony Yeboah, and Abedi Pele. They have all been contacted by the presidency on their new role, stated Saddick.
This committee would be replacing the Ghana Football Association board which has been dissolved by the government. It follows the explosive exposé on the GFA and Kwesi Nyantakyi by Anas Aremeyaw Anas.
However, it seems some Ghanaians have issues with some of the members of the three-member committee, while others believe setting up the committee is a good thing.
Meanwhile, Kwesi Nyantakyi has threatened to sue Anas for defamation. According to him, Anas’ ‘Number 12’ was concocted to tarnish his hard-earned image and that of his family; stressing that he would not sit aloof to see that happen.
