North Tongu MP Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa is demanding immediate action over the alleged abandonment of a patient by the Winneba Trauma and Specialist Hospital.
Reports surfaced on June 13, showing a woman left in a bush at Gomoa Ojobi by an ambulance from the hospital.
Ablakwa, speaking in Parliament, condemned the act as inhumane, calling for the summoning of the hospital's board and management, and the Health Ministry.
He emphasized the need for an urgent probe into this negligence, which he described as a gross violation of the Hippocratic oath and the 1992 Constitution.
