North Tongu MP Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa plans to petition the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) to investigate a $34.9 million ambulance spare parts procurement deal.
He accuses former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta and former Health Minister Kwaku Agyeman-Manu of colluding with Service Ghana Auto Group Limited to defraud the state.
Ablakwa revealed that Ofori-Atta approved the deal five days before his removal. Despite only partial payment, the company allegedly received over GH₵653 million for dubious services.
Ablakwa cites an Auditor General's report condemning the company for inflated invoices and poor service, questioning the government's integrity and commitment to financial prudence.
