The Member of Parliament for North Tongu, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has criticized the Chief of Staff, Frema Osei Opare, for dismissing allegations about expired rice being distributed to Senior High Schools as propaganda.
Ablakwa argued that Osei Opare’s comments were inappropriate and failed to address the serious concerns raised by the public. He called for a thorough investigation into the matter, instead of downplaying the issue.
Ablakwa emphasized the importance of transparency and accountability in restoring public confidence, urging the government to take proper steps to resolve the scandal.
He also called for the Chief of Staff to support a full inquiry into the situation rather than "whitewashing" it.
