Ablakwa to lead demo against sale of SSNIT hotels to Bryan Acheampong

Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, NDC MP for North Tongu, has planned to lead a public protest against the sale of SSNIT hotels to Rock City Hotel Limited, owned by Agriculture Minister Bryan Acheampong.

Despite opposition and a petition to CHRAJ, Ablakwa believes the deal may proceed before an investigation concludes.

He intends to draft a bill to prevent politicians from buying state assets and has notified the police of a demonstration on June 18, 2024.

Ablakwa urges President Akufo-Addo to stop the transaction, highlighting concerns of conflict of interest and unethical practices.
