Ghana’s capital, the Greater Accra Region has recorded over 6,000 Covid-19 cases.
In its latest update, the Ghana Health Service (GHS) indicated that 6,102 out of the national total were recorded in the region.
Ghana’s Covid-19 cases stand at 8,885 as of June 4 after some 327 more cases were recorded.
The number of recoveries has also increased by 57 raising the tally to 3,189.
The number of deaths has, however, stayed at 38.
This leaves the active case count at 5,658.
