Adansihene vows to chase away disrespectful MDCEs, MPs from palace visit

The Adansihene, Opagyakotwere Bonsra Afriyie II, has warned Municipal and District Chief Executives (MDCEs) and Members of Parliament (MPs) in the Adansi area who fail to respect his authority.

He stated that such individuals will not be welcomed in his palace during this year’s political campaigns.

Speaking at his 10th-anniversary celebration, he expressed frustration over political leaders who have ignored his invitations.

While he cannot stop them from campaigning, he insists they should not bring government officials to his palace. He also urged politicians to avoid campaign rhetoric that could incite violence.
