Adhoc refutes NPP Chairman’s claims of bribery to halt strike

The Adhoc Ministerial Committee on Illegal Mining has addressed accusations from Mr. Kwame Baffoe, NPP Chairman for the Bono Region, who claimed that Organised Labour demanded money to halt a planned strike.

The Committee labeled these claims as baseless and unfounded, asserting that no such demands or payments were made.

They emphasized that their discussions with Organised Labour were conducted in good faith.

The Committee remains committed to working with all stakeholders to combat illegal mining practices in the region.
