Sam George Nettey, a member of Parliament's Public Accounts Committee, has criticized the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation's (GBC) handling of the payment issue related to the 13th All African Games.
He argued that the contract clearly entitles GBC to $3.6 million, with no mention of third parties.
Despite this, GBC claims it only received $105,000, contradicting Sports Minister Mustapha Ussif’s statement that over $3 million was paid to GBC.
George questioned where the remaining funds went, raising concerns about potential contract violations and discrepancies in the payment process.
