Workers of the Produce Buying Company of Ghana (PBC) have protested at Abeka Junction over unpaid salaries, heading to the company's headquarters in Dzorwulu.
Dressed in red and holding placards, they demanded better conditions and urged state agencies to investigate the company's financial management.
The protest, led by the Pressure Group of PBC Limited, follows a similar one in Ashanti on May 29, 2024, highlighting the government's failure to pay twelve months of salary arrears.
The Ashanti chapter also called on EOCO to probe the company's sample residue account amid legal battles preventing asset sales.
