The Ghana Police Service is actively pursuing a suspect involved in a shooting incident on October 27, during political campaigns in the Agona West Constituency, leaving four injured.
Supporters of NPP’s Chris Arthur were returning from a campaign event when they encountered a mini-rally for Cynthia Morrison, sparking gunfire.
Chris Arthur’s campaign manager, Haruna Rashid, was hit in the ribs and hospitalized, while two others remain under medical care.
Morrison expressed concern and stated she was unaware of the incident at the time.
Police have increased their presence in the area to ensure safety and are closing in on the suspect.
