Former President John Mahama has criticized President Nana Akufo-Addo and Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for their absence at the National Peace Campaign launch.
He emphasized that their presence was vital for national security and peace, noting he canceled a rally to attend the event.
Mahama expressed disappointment upon learning that Dr. Bawumia was attending a youth program instead.
He pointed out the rising unemployment rate, which increased from 8.4% to 14.7% under the current government, and questioned the NPP's commitment to job creation, citing unpaid allowances owed to NABCO trainees as evidence of unfulfilled promises.
