University of Ghana Professor Ransford Gyampo has ceased criticizing President Nana Akufo-Addo, stating there is little the government can achieve before the December 7 elections.
Speaking on TV3, he described the administration as having "checked out" after two terms in office.
Gyampo said he will now focus on evaluating the campaigns of leading presidential aspirants, including Dr. Bawumia, John Mahama, and Alan Kyerematen.
He criticized President Akufo-Addo for losing the goodwill he initially enjoyed.
However, Old Tafo MP Vincent Assafuah defended the president, highlighting achievements like free kidney dialysis from December 1 and expanded healthcare infrastructure, calling Akufo-Addo one of Ghana’s best leaders.
