Minister for Roads and Highways, Francis Asenso-Boakye, claims the Akufo-Addo administration has built more roads than any previous Ghanaian government.
Speaking at a press conference on July 18, he asserted that 12,800 kilometers of roads were constructed under Akufo-Addo, compared to 4,636 kilometers under the Mahama administration.
He emphasized the significant investments and improvements in the country's infrastructure.
President Akufo-Addo recently echoed this, stating that his government has built more roads than the combined efforts of the Mills/Mahama administrations, citing a total of 12,830 kilometers completed since 2017.
