Inspite of the fact that the cause of death of students at Kumasi Academy and other second cycle institutions have been identified as Swine Flu (H1N1) and Meningitis, Deputy General Secretary of the opposition NDC, Koku Anyidoho believes President Akufo-Addo is behind the many deaths.
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Deputy Chief Scribe insists that President Akufo-Addo is 'killing' and 'slaughtering' children in secondary schools inasmuch as he [Nana Akufo-Addo] is an astute human rights lawyer.
Speaking to the issue of impeachment petition against the three Electoral Commissioners, Koku Anyidoho on Okay FM’s 'Ade Akye Abia' Morning Show diverged to allege that President Akufo-Addo and the NPP used the country as collateral to appease their deity for helping them win the 2016 elections, hence the death of several secondary school children.
“ . . Akufo-Addo claims to be a humans right lawyer and you are killing children; slaughtering children in secondary schools . . . they have used the country as collateral; wherever they went before winning the 2016 elections is what is killing our school children,” Koku alleged.
He alluded to earlier comments by the founder and leader of Glorious Word Power Ministry International, Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah on Neat FM’s Morning Show last Friday, that the issues happening in the secondary schools are rather more spiritual than physical.
Per the claim of Rev. Owusu Bempah, the NDC Deputy General Secretary thus surmised; “If it is spiritual then it is because of the kind of leadership we have in the country today that is why it is spiritual. The bad leadership we have today is causing the death of our school children.”
He further stressed that so long as people blamed former President John Dramani Mahama for the June 3 disaster at Kwame Nkrumah Circle which claimed hundreds of Ghanaians, he will also in the same vein, blame President Akufo-Addo with regards to the students who have died from Swine Flu (H1N1) and Meningitis.
“When the disaster happened at Circle people blamed it on former President John Mahama...s why shouldn't i also blame Nana Addo for what is happening in our schools,” he quizzed.
