Private legal practitioner Kwame Adofo has petitioned President Akufo-Addo to remove Professor Addai Mensah, the CEO of Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH), citing financial mismanagement and incompetence.
Adofo claims to have substantial evidence of Professor Mensah's misappropriation of GHC300,000 and breaches of procurement processes.
In an interview with Asaase Radio, Adofo emphasized the seriousness of these allegations, which question Mensah's management and integrity.
Adofo petitioned the President, the appointing authority, in line with his duty as a concerned citizen to report misconduct.
He expressed hope that the President would act swiftly to ensure accountability and transparency within government institutions.
