President Akufo-Addo has promised justice for Eric Johnson, owner of the Royal Cosy Hills Hotel, who was found dead in his home on February 11, 2024.
Johnson's body had deep wounds, and the assailants allegedly used a ladder and master card to access his room.
At his funeral on June 1, 2024, in Jirapa, Akufo-Addo, represented by Minister Ambrose Dery, assured that the perpetrators would face the law.
Seven suspects, including hotel employees, have been remanded. The prime suspect, Elyasah Mahama, a former hotel HR officer dismissed days before the murder, was arrested in Takoradi.
