Odeneho Kwafo Akoto III, the Akwamuhene, has led a delegation from Akwamu in the Eastern Region to Accra to mourn the departed Multimedia journalist, Kwadwo Asare Baffour Acheampong (KABA).
The delegation included the Chief of Adumasa, Nana Ansah Kwao, the Chief of Akosombo as well as other chiefs from the Akwamu traditional area. The powerful delegation was also accompanied by Oheneyere Gifty Anti, the wife of Nana Ansah Kawo.
Odeneho Kwafo Akoto III, addressing the leadership of Multimedia Group disclosed that the late KABA, is a native of Akwamu. He therefore urged that his royal who hails from Adumasa in the Akwamu traditional area be given a befitting burial.
The respected Ghanaian broadcaster, KABA was rushed to the Korle-Bu teaching hospital for emergency care after a short ailment. However, he was pronounced dead on early hours of Saturday November 18.
Though doctors are yet to release official report on what caused the death of the journalist, there are some unconfirmed reports KABA died of low sugar.
The Asempa FM broadcaster left behind a wife, Valentina and a seven months old baby.
