John Mahama, the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has celebrated the Court of Appeal's decision to acquit Minority Leader Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson in the ambulance case.
Mahama asserted that the acquittal reinforces his belief that the trial, led by Attorney General Godfred Dame, was politically motivated.
He described the ruling as a victory for the rule of law and a testament to the existence of justice in Ghana.
Mahama also reiterated his commitment to judicial reforms, promising to appoint a fair-minded Minister for Justice to ensure a truly independent judiciary.
