Kwaku Ansah-Asare, a former Director of the Ghana School of Law, has urged the impeachment of Supreme Court Justice Emmanuel Yonny Kulendi, who allegedly hosted the Attorney-General and Richard Jakpa, the third accused in the ambulance purchase trial, for a plea bargain negotiation.
Jakpa claimed the Attorney-General sought his help against Minority Leader Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson.
This accusation has sparked controversy, with Ansah-Asare also calling for the Attorney-General's resignation.
The Attorney-General's spokesperson defended the meeting, stating it was due to Jakpa lacking legal representation.
