Justice Afia Serwah Asare-Botwe, presiding over the ambulance purchase trial, has warned parties to moderate their public statements and avoid scandalizing the court.
She emphasized that external commentaries would not influence her judgment and cautioned against attempts to sway public opinion.
This follows allegations by the third accused, Richard Jakpa, that Attorney-General Godfred Dame sought his help to incriminate Minority Leader Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson.
Both parties met privately with the judge for 30 minutes, with Jakpa's statements recorded.
Amidst calls for Dame's resignation and demands for an investigation, the NDC and NPP plan separate press conferences on the issue.
