The National Democratic Congress (NDC) says it will soon present evidence supporting Richard Jakpa's claims in the ongoing ambulance procurement trial against Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson.
Jakpa, the third accused, alleged in court on May 23 that the Attorney-General tried to persuade him to falsely implicate the Minority Leader.
Felix Kwakye Ofosu, an aide to NDC flagbearer John Dramani Mahama, described the forthcoming evidence as "ironclad" and assured it would be presented early next week.
Ofosu emphasized that Jakpa made his statements under oath, risking imprisonment if false, and asserted the NDC's commitment to substantiating their claims seriously.
