American Firm Donates Computers To KNUST

The Miller Brewing Company of the USA, has donated 10 computers and two printers worth 25,000 US dollars to the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Kumasi.

The donation was made possible through an appeal and initiative of the Electrical Engineering Students Association of the University and facilitated by one Mr Peter Annor, Managing Director of the Annor Educational Services of Ghana.

At the same ceremony Electrical Engineering and Electronic books valued at 15,000 US Dollars were also presented by Professor T. J. C. Cumberbatch, a visiting professor from Cooper Union for Advancement of Science, Amoart, New York, USA.

Making the presentation on behalf of the Miller Brewing Company on Tuesday at KNUST, Mr Annor said the gesture was the company's contribution towards enhancing teaching and learning at KNUST
